Notice of Tree Removal at Memorial Park Maintenance Shop

The Municipality of Meaford would like to advise residents of a hazardous tree removal taking place at the Memorial Park Maintenance Shop as part of ongoing site safety and maintenance efforts.

Residents and visitors are asked to avoid the work area for their safety while maintenance activities are underway.

Overview

The following activities will occur:

  • Removal of identified hazard trees

  • Use of professional tree removal equipment and machinery

Date:April 9–11, 2026
Time: During scheduled work hours
Approximate duration of activity:Three days
Reason for notice:Removal of hazard trees to maintain public safety.
Additional details:The Municipality will be using a contractor to complete this work.
