Parks Use By-Law

The Municipality has developed a draft Parks Use By-law to provide basic rules around hours of operations, both daily and seasonally, and the code of conduct expected for our parks and open spaces.

It also establishes regulations on fireworks, damage and personal injury, garbage dumping, campfires, camping, ATV’s and animals. Enforcement and penalties are also included. The by-law is for parks and open spaces, but doesn't include Memorial Park or the Meaford Harbour. Separate by-laws will be produced later for these facilities after comprehensive business plans are complete.
