Volunteers

 

  
The Library occasionally recruits for volunteer positions as:

-  Teen Volunteers
-  Tech Centre Help
-  Friends of the Meaford Library
-  Occasional Help at Library Events and Programs.

Volunteers can do many tasks in the Library such as:   

Circulation Desk

  • Empty the book drop
  • Shelve books in the proper location

Tech Centre

  • Help customers with technical questions regarding their computer, device, downloading eBooks, etc.
  • Familiar but not an expert knowledge of tech is a requirement.

Events

  • Assist at library fundraising events.  

Adult Programs

  • Do you have ideas for library programs?  Help us plan and deliver programs you would want to attend.

Opportunities for High School Students
If you need community hours for your high school diploma, there are lots of ways to get them:

  • Shelve books
  • Help at an event
  • Tutor a student
  • Teen Tech Hour


Volunteers must be at least 14 years of age and may be asked to complete a criminal records check.
