Notice of Nominations for Office 

Meaford, Ontario – April 17, 2026 – The municipal election for offices within the Municipality and School Boards will be held in October 2026. Offices to be elected in the Municipality of Meaford include: Mayor (1), Deputy Mayor (1), Councillors (5) and School Board Trustee (1 per School Board). Individuals interested in running for office must file a nomination with the Municipal Clerk. Nominations must be filed before soliciting or accepting contributions for election purposes or incurring expenses on campaign activities.
