Community Invited to Annual Mayor’s Levee

The Municipality of Meaford invites residents to join Mayor Ross Kentner for the annual Mayor’s Levee, a long-standing New Year’s tradition that brings the community together to reflect on the past year and look ahead to the future. This year’s event also marks a significant milestone, as 2026 celebrates the 25th anniversary of the amalgamation of the Town of Meaford and the former Townships of St. Vincent and Sydenham.

Details:

Date: Sunday, January 4, 2026
Time: 2:30 to 4:00 p.m.
Location: Williams on 26 at the Major-General Richard Rohmer Meaford International Airport

The Mayor’s Levee provides an opportunity for residents to speak with Mayor Kentner, connect with members of Council, and begin celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Municipality of Meaford.

“I look forward to gathering with residents as we begin a new year together,” said Mayor Ross Kentner. “This annual Levee is a meaningful opportunity to celebrate our community, our shared accomplishments, and the commitment that continues to shape Meaford. I’m pleased to once again host the event at Williams on 26 at the Major-General Richard Rohmer Meaford International Airport.”

Light refreshments will be served. All are welcome, and admission is free.
