Meaford Launches New Waste App: Recycle Coach

The Municipality of Meaford is launching Recycle Coach, a new and improved waste and recycling app, which will replace the current Meaford Waste App starting December 16, 2025. Residents are encouraged to download Recycle Coach to continue receiving accurate and timely waste collection information.

Recycle Coach provides an easier, more reliable way to stay informed about garbage, recycling, and organics. The app offers personalized collection reminders, an always-updated schedule, real-time service alerts, and a simple “What Goes Where” search tool to help residents sort materials correctly. Its modern design and improved accuracy offer a better experience than the existing app, which will be phased out.

Recycle Coach offers:

  • A more accurate and regularly updated schedule
  • Real-time service alerts
  • A powerful “What Goes Where” search
  • A more modern, easy-to-use design
  • Better reminders and customization
  • Improved mapping and facility information

The former Meaford Waste App will no longer receive updates once Recycle Coach launches. While the app may still appear on your device, the information it displays may be outdated or inaccurate and should no longer be used as a reliable source.

Information about the transition and links to download the app will be available at meaford.ca/waste.
