Voting Period Open  

Voting for the 2026 Municipal and School Board Election is now open in the Municipality of Meaford. The voting period runs from October 16, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. until October 26, 2026 at 8:00 p.m. Electors can access the internet and phone voting system 24 hours per day during the voting period, using information provided in the Voter Information Letter. 

Electors can cast their vote for up to one (1) Mayor, up to five (5) Councillors, and up to one (1) School Board Trustee. The offices of the Deputy Mayor, French Separate School Board Trustee, and English Separate School Board Trustee have been acclaimed. 

If an elector has not received their Voter Information Letter, they can visit a Voting Help Centre with identification. Questions about Voter Information Letters can be directed to elections@meaford.ca, or 519-538-1060 ext 1234.
