Proposal:  Develop the lands for a plan of subdivision of up to 249 residential uses, with public roads, parkland, walkways and stormwater management. The residential units are a mixture of single detached, semi detached and townhouses.

A previous Official Plan Amendment removed an area of highway commercial to be redesignated for residential uses. Previous zoning approval rezoned the lands to allow for residential uses, separate parkland / open space and environmental protection areas. 

Recent draft plan approval gave a three year timeline until February 3, 2028 for the development of 201 residential dwelling units. The proponent has registered Phase 1 of the Draft Plan Approval (16M-89), which consisted of 97 units. 

New applications have been submitted to modify the draft plan of subdivision and site specific Zoning By-law provisions as they apply to a portion of the site. The purpose and effect of the revision to the subdivision is to convert 23 of the proposed single detached lots located at the north end of the development to 36 townhouse units.
