Notice of Phone Line Disruption

Update (3/10/2026 4:53 PM): Municipal phone lines have now been fully resolved, and we have returned to normal operations.

The Municipality of Meaford would like to advise residents that municipal phone lines are currently experiencing an unexpected outage. Staff are actively working with our service provider to identify the cause and restore service as quickly as possible.

During this disruption, residents may be unable to reach municipal departments by phone. Alternative contact methods are available, and staff remain committed to supporting residents throughout the outage.

The following impacts have been observed:

  • Municipal phone lines may beunavailable.

  • Calls to general inquiry and department-specific numbers may not connect or may fail without warning.
