Notice: Parking Restrictions on Sykes St. E. for Harbour Walk Run

The Municipality of Meaford would like to inform residents and visitors of temporary parking restrictions along the east side of Sykes Street North for the setup and duration of the Meaford Harbour 5KM Walk Run event beginning on Friday, July 11. Parking spaces along the east side of the street will be blocked off to ensure participant safety. The road will remain open to traffic.

Overview

The following service will be temporarily impacted:
Parking spaces along the east side of Sykes Street North, from Trowbridge Street East to Bayfield Street, will be blocked off. The road itself will remain open for through traffic.

Start Date and Time: Friday, July 11, 2025, at 8:00 p.m.

Approximate End Date and Time: Saturday, July 12, 2025, at 10:00 a.m.

Reason for disruption: Setup and facilitation of the Meaford Harbour 5KM Walk Run event.

Alternative services: Parking lots at Market Square, on Nelson Street and Trowbridge Street will all remain open. Pedestrians and drivers are advised to exercise caution in the event area.
