Official List of Certified Candidates Following Additional Nominations

The Municipality of Meaford is notifying the public that, following the close of additional nominations for the position of Deputy Mayor, one nomination was received and certified by the Clerk. The nominee for the office of the Deputy Mayor has been acclaimed.

The official list of certified candidates for all offices in the 2026 Municipal & School Board Election in the Municipality of Meaford is now available on www.meafordvotes.ca and is posted at the Administration Office, 21 Trowbridge Street West, Meaford. An election has been declared for the offices of Mayor, Councillor and School Board Trustee – English Public.

Clerks responsible for the administration of the following elections have certified nominations for the offices of School Board Trustee for the English Separate (acclaimed), French Separate (acclaimed), and French Public School Boards.
