Lakeshore Road South Bridge Rehabilitation
Introduction
Structure/Bridge BR-035 is scheduled for rehabilitation to extend its life and continue service for the municipality. This bridge is situated on Lakeshore Road South, south of Centreville Road, and spans Centreville Creek. The concrete structure has been identified through routine inspections as requiring rehabilitation.
Project Description
This project includes:
- Concrete repairs
- Replacement of barriers and guiderails
- Paving over the bridge and approaches
- Extension of guiderails along the south side of Centreville Road from the bridge
- Centreville Road bank stabilization near the bridge
Additional Information
Impact on Residents
Traffic Disruptions:
- Lakeshore Road South will be closed at the bridge throughout construction.
- Centreville Road will be reduced to a single lane for a portion of the work.
- Please use alternate routes.
- Residents can still access their property, but do not park on the roadway.
- Noise and Dust:Shape Some noise and dusty conditions are expected during construction.
