Planning Applications: Zoning By-law Amendment

Proposal: The application proposes to establish a Home Industry on the property (also known as an “on-farm diversified use”) consisting of a workshop for dry manufacturing use, which may include but is not limited to: welding, metal fabrication shop, assembly and storage areas. The proposed area for the use would be approximately 7,820 m2 of the existing 60.85-hectare property. The property owner is requesting to re-zone the property to permit the following:

  • To permit a 750 m2 workshop used for dry manufacturing, where Zoning By-law 60-2009 currently limits a Home Industry building to a maximum of 250 m2.
