The Meaford Public Library provides Windows desktop computers for public use connected to high speed internet service and loaded with Microsoft Office 2013 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access). Computers are located in the main area, junior library, and teen library.
Computers are available on a first-come-first-serve basis and cannot be reserved in advance. Sign in with your valid library card number or pick up a guest pass at the main circulation desk. Computers are for 30 minute use per session. Extra time may be given if required.
Chromebooks laptops are available for in-house and home use if required.
Printing is available from each computer (black and white only) at 25 cents a page.
There is also free wireless Internet access throughout the library. On your device go to your wireless connections and look for "Meaford Public Library - Guest" accounts. No password is required.
The Rotary Club of Meaford and The Friends of the Meaford Library graciously sponsor free Wi-Fi router/hotspots for internet connectivity. Reserve here here under the "Library of Things" catalogue link.
