About the Event:
Five local libraries are pleased to present an evening of laughter and spirited debate as their Defenders engage in a fast-paced discussion to prove that their Canadian book deserves the trophy.
In each round, the defenders answer questions regarding their chosen book, critique the others, and set up alliances to determine which book stays, and which book goes. Witticisms and wisecracks fly as each defender attempts to prove why their book is the best.
