Overview

  • Canada Post is experiencing a national strike, resulting in a temporary service disruption.

  • No mail will be delivered or sent during this time, which affects how residents receive and send municipal documents.

  • All payment deadlines remain in effect, regardless of whether you have received your bill by mail.

Property Taxes

  • Property tax bills were mailed in July 2025.

  • The next installment is due on October 28, 2025.

  • Property owners are expected to make payments on time using alternative payment methods, as bills have already been received.

Municipal Payments (Accounts Payable)

  • If you are waiting for a cheque payment, email ap@meaford.ca with your invoice number to confirm pickup.

  • Cheques will not be mailed during the strike.

  • Please do not send payments by mailat this time. Use alternative payment methods.

  • Pick up municipal documents in person during business hours.

  • Sign up for e-billing for future convenience.
